Runlet Privacy Policy
Runlet is a player and editor for AI-generated web mini-apps. This policy explains what the app handles during the current beta.
This beta privacy page is a product placeholder and should be reviewed by qualified legal counsel before a broad public launch.
Data you create
Mini-app code, names, notes, settings, and local library data are stored on your device by default. If you choose to use cloud sync or AI editing, the code and instructions you submit may be sent to Runlet services to provide that feature.
Account data
If you create an account, Runlet stores account identifiers such as email, username, display name, password hash, sessions, password reset metadata, and deletion status. Passwords are not stored in plain text.
Cloud sync data
Cloud sync may store mini-app source, names, notes, descriptions, visibility settings, permissions, app-local storage snapshots, version history, execution metadata, reports, and moderation status.
AI editing
When you use Ask Runlet, your prompt, app source code, and relevant error details may be processed by our server-side AI provider to generate the requested edit.
Email and service providers
Runlet may use service providers for hosting, database storage, rate limiting, transactional email, and AI generation. These providers process data only as needed to provide the requested feature.
Tracking
Runlet does not use third-party advertising tracking and does not sell personal information.
Diagnostics
The app may show local runtime errors so you can fix mini-apps. During the beta, server logs may be used to keep the service reliable and prevent abuse.
Deletion
The account deletion control removes cloud decks owned by the account and anonymizes the user record in the backend. Projects stored only on your device remain on that device until you delete local app data or remove them in Runlet.
Children
Runlet is not intended for children under the age required to consent to online services in their location.
User content
If public sharing is enabled in a future version, published mini-apps may be visible to other users and subject to moderation, reporting, and removal.
